GUNNER’S RIDGE AFTER CARE MINISTRY A steady place. A new beginning. VISION OVERVIEW — OCTOBER 2026 OUR MISSION To provide a structured Christian aftercare environment where men can strengthen recovery, rebuild daily living skills, and prepare for responsible independent living. THE PLANNED PROGRAM Gunner’s Ridge proposes residential aftercare for up to 16 adult men. Planned support includes stable housing, Christian discipleship, personal accountability, literacy and GED preparation, employment readiness, transportation, and connections to outside healthcare, counseling, and legal services. The proposed program does not provide medical detoxification or inpatient treatment. Clinical care will be provided by licensed outside professionals. THE PATH FORWARD 1. Stabilization: assessment, supportive routines, and immediate needs. 2. Development: education, employment, budgeting, and personal goals. 3. Independence: housing preparation, transition planning, and continued support. Each resident will have an individual plan. A six- to twelve-month stay is a planning assumption, with progress based on readiness. The current plan includes an $800 monthly resident contribution; final terms and hardship policies remain to be established. FACILITIES Proposed facilities include a 16-resident bunkhouse, a chapel, and an intake building with private staff living space. WAYS TO HELP Planned support opportunities include individual giving, church partnerships, business support, and skilled volunteer service. Fundraising priorities include facilities, transportation, and operating support. CURRENT STATUS The ministry is in development. Planning begins with 2027, but no opening date has been announced. Opening depends on approvals, facilities, staffing, and funding. Applications and online giving are not yet open through the website. Official contact and giving details will be added before public launch. This overview summarizes proposed plans, which may change as launch preparations progress.
